The existing lighting in many business’s and domestic buildings will generally consist of extremely inefficient lighting products, these waste massive amounts of energy through heat not light. In the last few years there have been new technologies invented such as compact fluorescent lighting and more recently LED technology’s that are much more cost effective and eco friendly.
We aim to use these new technologies to give cost effective energy efficient lighting design whether it’s a new or a Retrofit system.
We do not manufacture our own product so we are totally committed to sourcing the correct product for each specific requirement of the customer.
We will conduct a site visit if requested and then give a full report to the customer highlighting where we can save money and lower Carbon emissions by cutting lighting energy consumption up to 90% and in turn reducing costs, this will usually be by changing (retrofitting) the old lights for new ones which are much more efficient.
In addition to lowering billing costs, making the business more eco friendly we can also in some cases apply for an interest free loan from the Carbon Trust or Salix to absorb the upfront costs of the energy saving lighting project, loan repayments are spread over the length of the projects payback period so that the cost is effectively funded by the savings from the project.
